Bila orang pinjam mp3 aku, semua buat muka tak faham.
Bila orang tengok buku-buku aku, semua buat muka pelik.
Bila orang tengok hard disk aku, semua buat muka kecewa.
Dan ada lagi beberapa peristiwa yang membuatkan orang di sekeliling aku membuat muka bila menyentuh perkara-perkara yang berkaitan dengan hidup aku.
You know why?
Because in my mp3 MOST of the songs are English songs.
Because LOTS of my books are English.
and in my hard disk, there are quite NUMBERS of English movies (and there's some Malays movies as well. Kau je tak pandai cari). And I only downloaded those English video clips.
It's not that I'm forgetting my mother tongue. It's not that I don't know that I'm still a Malay. It's not that I never knew about our constitution, whereby in Article 152 it stated that our national language is Bahasa Melayu. But it is not wrong if we are using English. Mind that.
I'm improving my English you know?
and I'm learning through their songs, their books and their movies. Easier isn't it?
